How we choose your names
We combine a small curated character library with a sound-inspired first character for supported English names, your chosen quality, and optional birth imagery. Three suggestions offer different emphases. Unsupported English names use a transparent meaning-first fallback rather than a claimed phonetic match.
How does birth information affect the result?
Month determines a broad meteorological season, adjusted for hemisphere. Time uses four broad parts of the day. The full date and entered time also seed the order of curated combinations. These are creative selection rules, not evidence that a birth date determines personality, luck, or an ideal name. We do not calculate lunar dates, solar terms, the day pillar, true solar time, or five-element balance.
Is this a translation of my legal name?
No. It suggests a Chinese-style name rather than a full transliteration or certified legal translation. Chinese names conventionally place the surname before the given name. We show the two parts separately so you can understand the structure.
Will every name sound natural?
These are starting points, not a professional naming consultation. Character combinations can have regional associations or resemble existing names. Ask a native speaker familiar with your intended community to review a favorite before using it professionally or legally.
Do you save my date of birth?
No. All processing happens in this tab. There is no account, database, analytics, or advertising in this preview. Only your language preference is stored on this device.Clear the form or close the tab to remove your entries.
